The first step to achieving any financial goal is budgeting. That is why Money in the Community's Budgeting 101 lesson introduces the basics of budgeting, walking attendees through a step by step guide on creating a working monthly budget.  First, attendees complete a budget prep worksheet listing their income & expenses. After they list out all of their known budget items, they are then set to create a working budget with their known items and wanted budget items.

After attendees create their budget, tips & tricks on tracking and managing your money during the month are reviewed.
